Michelle Lee — a.k.a. DeeJay Shelly, the “DJ with Wings” — is an internationally recognized female DJ, emcee, entertainer, and public speaker. Known for her signature exotic wings and rare turquoise headphones, she blends high-energy DJ sets with live musicians to create interactive, multicultural experiences. From corporate events, festivals, and NFL stadiums to galas, luxury weddings, and fundraisers, Shelly has performed for world-class brands including the NFL, MGM National Harbor, bareMinerals, Wolfgang Puck, and Amazon Web Services.

Before the wings, the stages, and the luxury venues… there was the grind.
From palm trees to playlists — every gig begins with the hustle.
Sometimes I forget how long I’ve been doing this! — I started at sixteen, hauling speakers, untangling cables, and firing up dance floors as a DJ assistant and party pumper. I learned to read a room long before I dropped my first beat.
When it was my turn to step up, I balanced a corporate career by day, DJ sets by night, and weekends on the road — all while earning my Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Every gig. Every city. From lugging gear aboard the Moshulu to navigating icy streets for holiday parties, each moment pushed me closer to what came next.
THE LEAP INTO FULL-TIME ENTERTAINMENT
For years, “someday” was the plan. Then one day, “someday” wasn’t enough.
I left the safety net of a nine-to-five for the unpredictable thrill of the stage — stepping fully into music and live entertainment.
It became more than just spinning tracks. It was about crafting immersive experiences, building a brand, and connecting with audiences from Philadelphia to the world stage.
A bold move? Absolutely. And it’s the one that built everything that followed.

That’s why I created The ElectriX — a one-of-a-kind fusion where my signature DJ mix meets the talent and charisma of world-class performers.
